Mary Clarke-Coyle
I’m honored to have been chosen as the CFW crossfitter of the month. It was a total surprise as I feel like everyone there deserves this recognition.
My journey began 14 months ago- 2weeks before my 42nd birthday. I was in a slump- not overweight, just out of shape and unmotivated. I had been paying gyms monthly membership fees for years but never going. A friend of mine Chris Murray, you might know him, had a mini intervention with me when he noticed I wasn’t myself. On several occasions he tried to convince me that crossfit would be the answer to my problems. I was skeptical and said crossfit is for the obsessed and crazy. It took me another few weeks to sign up for on ramps. I was right- I signed up for 3x/w and within 2 months I became that crazy and obsessed person and signed up for the unlimited membership. I love every minute of it- I anxiously await the posting of the following days WOD….#obsessed
I have met the most wonderful people- my CF Sisters are strong, funny, loyal and just great to be around. The coaches are real people with families and jobs -down to earth and always available to help or answer questions. As cliche as this sounds, without them I would have quit 6 months in. It’s as if you have personal trainers at every WOD ed-hrvatski.com.
Thank you again, it really means the world to me. You know I’m never satisfied. With your guidance I’ll keep working on improving my technique and building strength knowing my CFW friends and coaches will be with me every step of the way.

Congrats to Mary for being CF of the month. Mary is one of the hardest workers at CrossFit Wallingford and is always trying to improve. Mary is also very encouraging and supportive to everyone in class. I think I speak for all the coaches when I say Mary is very coachable and a pleasure to have in class.
Great job Mary and keep it up!!!
